Snorkling

Yesterday was snorkling day. The snorkling and diving is still good, but I saw lots of damage, bleached out corals and - even more disturbing - too much trash in the waters around Bunaken island. Since I didn't bring any of my cameras, I can't show you pictures of the lagoons where we snorkled, the flying fish we saw, or of the three schools of dolphins that passed us by. Amazing creatures. And our last snorkling site actually was pretty good. Lots of fish and (better-looking) colorful corals.

Fish-in-bag

My nephew caught a fish. Or better, the fish caught him. As he was holding a small plastic bag with leftover bread crumbs after feeding the fish, the little (hungry) fish decided to swim into the bag. Of course we set him free straightaway.
