Angry as angry can be
We experienced a huge blow-up in our hotel lobby this morning. It seemed as if one French guest was not quite happy with his tour operator (or the travel arrangements), which resulted in quite the hissy fit of the disgruntled Frenchman. He was shouting at the top of his lungs, and in a place as tranquil and serene as ours, it was almost a surreal experience. At a certain point I started wondering if he was going to throw himself on the floor and start pounding the ground with his fists. It would have matched the other behavior. Yet it always makes me wonder what must have happened to trigger this type of anger. People are fascinating.
