Mount Batur and Mount Agung

With so many of the 'Ring of Fire' volcanoes situated in Indonesia (see posts about Manado and Jogja, too), of course it's no surprise that there are active volcanoes on Bali as well. There was a small eruption of Mount Batur last year, but - again - noone seems to be the least bit worried about any of this stuff at all. I guess you just get used to it. Anyways, we could see both volcanoes from the vista point, a panoramic 'sweep' from left to right at the bottom of this post. Elevation, approximately 2,000 metres (6,000 ft).
