Mass confusion

When we got to the airport this morning, our check-in agent claimed our flight wasn't until 8:00 PM, instead of 08:00 AM. She mentioned that the morning flight, GA250 wasn't being operated anymore, but thought she could get us on an earlier flight. She then sent me back to the ticketing office, where I was told that they would put us on another morning flight. When I came back to the check-in desk, the agent told me that she had identified the problem: they had recently changed the flying schedule of GA250 to the afternoon, but the system hadn't converted our reservation. She was going to make the changes back at the ticketing office and send us on our way.
With a new ticket in hand, we were checked into flight GA250, departing at 08:00 AM. Just like it said on our original e-ticket. Confused? I know I was. I need coffee. One tall moccha no whip, please.
