Walking and talking trees

Do you remember the walking trees called the Ents from this movie (or the book, for that matter)? If so, then you would probably agree with me that the first one of these two could have 'walked off the set' (no pun intended) of this movie, no? We visited a traditional Bali village where we found a couple of these trees.
