One cloth, one month




Right, so, if you know a bit about Indonesia, then you'd also know that Jogja is known for batik, the handpainted fabric from which sarongs (and other things) are made. However, our plans of visiting a batik 'factory' in Jogja didn't quite work out, so it was really nice we still had an opportunity of seeing how batik is made out here, in Bali. One of the ladies showcasing the technique told us that it would take her one month to produce a large cloth.
