Carrefour
My oh my. When you ask your driver to take you to a really big supermarket, then get ready for something big. Measuring three stories high, this Carrefour in Kuta is quite the thing to experience. Perhaps it's nothing compared to a regular supermarket in the US, but for here it is quite extraordinary. And yes, they have everything, as one would expect. Such as... a Dutch brand of chocolate, says the ultimate turista Frenniepennie.
"Carrepoh" took me a while to figure out, but when we drove into the parking lot, it hit home, or -- as we say in Dutch 'viel het kwartje eindelijk'.
